In 2001 the first SELGROS wholesale market in Poznan was opened. This was followed by a network of locations including 13 markets.

The latest addition was the new market in Lodz. Until 2011 new markets are envisaged. On a floor space of more than 10,000 square metres, SELGROS offers its customers a choice of 40,000 products which are almost solely sourced from Polish suppliers. SELGROS Sp. Z o.o. is the number two in the Cash & Carry sector.
